The African American Guide to UFOs is a 13-chapter investigative exploration of the UFO phenomenon through a distinctly Black cultural and historical lens. Rather than approaching the subject through the dominant mainstream (largely white) narrative, the book examines how African Americans have witnessed, interpreted, and been largely excluded from the public conversation around unidentified aerial phenomena. Drawing on an investigative voice, it weaves together eyewitness accounts, historical context, and cultural analysis — with archival photo placeholders throughout — to build a case that Black experiences with the unexplained deserve serious documentation and attention.
